SAC QRC3 2026 — AI prompt insights, Compass simulation, new charts
Rolled out mid-August 2026 (15–16 August window). SAP's announced scope leans into AI-assisted authoring: prompt-insight widgets in stories, expanded Compass simulation, three new native charts, a search upgrade and smarter Data Action filtering. Confirm exact availability in your tenant's What's New Viewer — some AI features may need an AI-units entitlement.

SAC QRC2 2026 — redesigned Data Panel, asymmetric tables, new APIs
Rolled out mid-May 2026. The Story editor gets a redesigned Data Panel (replacing Available Objects), the new table experience finally supports asymmetric layouts, and SAC Planning picks up the onBeforeDataEntryProcess() event. Data Export & Import APIs close real automation gaps.

SAC QRC1 2026 — Story Versioning, new charts, Snowflake live
Rolled out mid-February 2026. Less a single headline than a wave of practical upgrades: story versioning, two new chart types, live Snowflake for planning models, scheduled My Metrics reports, and a Fact Deletion step in Data Actions.
